SPECIALIST CAMP

Instructional Objectives

Our camp's mission is to help improve kicking, punting, and snapping fundamentals to help the athlete be the best K/P/LS they can be for their high school team. There will be drills and competition included, with instruction provided by the Ouachita football staff and players. We look forward to having you on campus.

Camp Staff

Spencer Knight - Worked with the University of Memphis specialist from 2015-2017. Coached 5th round draft pick and Super Bowl winning kicker, Jake Elliott (15-16) , three time All-Conference Punter, Spencer Smith (15-17), and multiple others while at Memphis.

Todd Knight – Coordinated/Coached Ouachita Special Teams and Specialists for over 10 years. Multiple All Conference and All American selections at K/P/LS/Ret. Special Teams units have led the GAC in overall performance consistently.

Whit Jones – Assistant Ouachita Special Teams Coordinator. 2 years with the Tigers the Special Teams Unit ranked first in the GAC in Overall Special Teams Efficiency. Young coach with great energy and big future ahead.

Jake Ford – Former Specialist Coach and Assistant Special Teams Coordinator at Ouachita. Played two years as a punter/kicker for the Tigers winning two GAC hampionships (2018-2019). Was Drafted #1 overall in the Canadian League Draft in 2020.
